EVIDENCE: FOUR BLOOD MOONS (Part III)
In
order to comprehend the seriousness and significance of these major end-times
signs, we need to examine the three occasions that the Four Blood Moons
have manifested during the past 500 years.
It is important to remember that only three times in the past 500 years
have Four Blood Moons been aligned precisely
on the calendar with the God-ordained Covenant Feasts of Israel.
The
first time this happened was in 1493 and 1494 at the close of the Spanish
Inquisition. Tens of thousands of Jews
were killed during the Inquisition and the period immediately following when all
Jews were expelled from Spain by Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand. What was the Spanish Inquisition? It was a Roman Catholic tribunal convened to punish
heresy or beliefs not sanctioned by the Church.
It resulted in severe punishment for those who had been accused of
departing from the faith. Hundreds were burned
at the stake and thousands were imprisoned and tortured until they repented. Hoping to eliminate ties between the Jewish
community and the new Christian converts, the Jews were expelled from Spain on July 30th of 1492.
Tens of thousands of Jewish refugees
died while trying to reach safety. In some instances, Spanish ship captains
charged Jewish passengers exorbitant sums, then dumped them overboard in the
middle of the ocean. In the final days
before the expulsion, rumors spread throughout Spain that the fleeing refugees
had swallowed gold and diamonds, and many Jews were knifed to death by brigands
hoping to find treasures in their stomachs.
You will remember that 1492 was also
the year Christopher Columbus was commissioned by Queen Isabella and King Ferdinand
of Spain to set forth on the Atlantic Ocean to find the Indies. The first entry in the diary of Christopher
Columbus reads: “In the same month in which their Majesties [Ferdinand and
Isabella] issued the edict that all Jews should be driven out of the kingdom
and its territories, in the same month they gave me the order to undertake with
sufficient men my expedition of discovery to the Indies.” The expulsion that
Columbus referred to was so cataclysmic an event in Jewish history that ever
since, the date 1492 has been as important in Jewish history as it is in American history.
As you know, Columbus never reached
the Indies, but arrived mistakenly in the Americas. This is spiritually significant because Four Blood Moons occurred during this
two-year period, coinciding with two Covenant Feasts of
Israel: The Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles. This is very important because the Americas
(the United States of America in particular) would become a future haven for
the Jewish people. Today, there are approximately
15 million Jews in the entire world. Eight
million Jews live in Israel and five million Jews live in the USA. So the United States has become a major haven
for the Jewish people. The Four Blood Moons show up at the same
time as Jewish
Covenant Feasts because they are a symbol that God is up to
something that is historic and world-changing, involving The People of the Covenant. Every single time in history that this Four Blood Moon
pattern has coincided with the Jewish feast days, a major event has occurred, one which dramatically
impacts the nation of Israel.
In order
to understand what will happen during the 2014–2015 Four
Blood Moons, we must understand the historical pattern and events of
previous tetrads of blood moons. Bear in
mind that this astronomical information comes from NASA, not from the
Church. According to NASA (National
Aeronautic and Space Administration), Four Blood Moons will occur during 2014 and
2015. They will coincide once more with the
Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles.
Incidentally, Four Blood Moons also
occurred during the Jewish Passovers in 32 AD–33 AD and on the Feasts of Tabernacles – highlighting
the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Since this time, the world has witnessed seven
series of tetrads
or Four Blood Moon cycles.
The eighth occurrence in this
series of Four Blood
Moons is especially important because it will profoundly affect ISRAEL as we know it today.
During the past 500 year
period, Four
Blood Moons have manifested in 1492, 1948 and 1967. We have already discussed the 1492 occurrence,
which involved the Spanish Inquisition, the killing and exile of Jews from
Spain, and Columbus’ voyage to America which resulted in a long-term safe haven
for the Jews.
Following this, Four Blood Moons coincided with the Jewish
Passover and Feast of Tabernacles in 1949–1950 during the first Arab-Israeli War for Independence, just
after Israel had become a nation again for the first time in 2,000 years. On May 14, 1948, Israel proclaimed its
independence. Less than 24 hours later,
the armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq invaded Israel. During Israel's War of Independence, the Israeli
Defense Forces repulsed the invaders in fighting, which lasted 15 months and
claimed 6,000 Israeli lives.
Following
this, Four Blood Moons coincided with the Jewish Passover and Feast
of Tabernacles in 1967–1968 during the Six Day War when Israel recaptured
Jerusalem. At the end of only six days
of combat, previous cease-fire lines were replaced with new ones. Judea, Samaria, Gaza, the Sinai Peninsula,
and the Golan Heights came under Israel’s control.
During the upcoming Four Blood Moons of 2014 – 2015, four lunar eclipses and two solar
eclipses will occur on the Jewish holidays of Passover and the Feast of
Tabernacles. It is important to note
that this is the only tetrad during the next 100 years that will align itself
with the God-given covenant feasts of Israel!
Putting everything into
perspective, this does not necessarily mean the Second Coming of Jesus
Christ will occur during these specific dates, but it is a definite indicator
that time is winding up!
The
Mid-East is a Hot Spot…a veritable crisis zone.
As of 2011, there has
been an ongoing state of crisis within the Mid-East, igniting violent uprisings
in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Yemen and other nations. As of 2012,
the world teeters on the edge of financial collapse which could potentially
capsize the economies of Europe and the USA, which is one of the last
supporters of the nation of Israel. Bear
in mind that the present political position of the United States is changing
rapidly. Today, we seek to divide the
land of Israel and return to its pre-1967 borders in order to create a Palestinian
state. This could prove to be disastrous
for America! The Word says: “Pray for
the peace of Jerusalem…they shall prosper that love thee.” (Psalm 122:6)
The
next Four Blood Moon series (the final tetrad to occur in the 21st
century) happens during 2014
through 2015. As with its predecessors, it will likely witness
world-changing events concerning Israel. These events could well involve an escalating
global financial crisis, a major regional war in the Middle East, or World War
III itself, as revealed in Psalm 83. Because
it is the final series of Four Blood Moons in this century,
and since we are now living in the last days, perhaps it is a clear harbinger
of the second coming of Jesus Christ. We
cannot predict the exact time or date, but all the signs certainly point to the
season in which we now live.
ONE KEY QUESTION:
ARE YOU READY FOR THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST?
USA’s Secretary of State, John Kerry,
says we could have a signed treaty between Israel and the Palestinians by
mid-year of 2014…this coming year!
President Obama has tentative plans to travel to Israel during 2014, perhaps
in anticipation of this treaty. This
would be a world-changing event because this treaty is biblically revealed as
THE CONFIRMATION OF THE COVENANT. When
this treaty is signed, God’s sovereign covenant with Abraham and Israel will be
reaffirmed. There will be a formal
recognition of Israel’s borders and most likely there will be an agreement
between the Jews and Muslims to share The Temple Mount. This will allow the 3rd Jewish
Temple to be built in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount, adjacent to a major Muslim
Mosque, the Dome of the Rock. Please pay
attention to the signs of our times.
For
when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh
upon them…
