THE ETERNAL LEGACY OF OVERCOMERS

THE ETERNAL LEGACY OF OVERCOMERS

WINNER-BELIEVER, you are presently engaged in spiritual warfare that might ‘feel’ inescapable and endless. (Ephesians 6:12)  Nevertheless, you MUST “fight the good fight of faith” with full awareness that you will ultimately prevail. (I Timothy 6:12)  Jesus Christ has provided strategic and tactical advantages for you: an incontrovertible Word, an impenetrable armor and an incredible arsenal. (Colossians 3:16 – Ephesians 6:13-17 – II Corinthians 10:4)  Best of all, the final chapter in your spiritual saga has already been penned; it reveals that you are (right now) victorious and (already) seated “in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” (II Corinthians 2:14 – Romans 8:37 – Ephesians 2:6)

WINNER-BELIEVER, YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER!  So believe it, receive it and walk with a confident spiritual authority. (Hebrews 10:35)  Why?  You win!  Numerous accrued benefits are the spiritual legacy of each and every overcomer.  Many of these are present-day realities. (Matthew 19:29 – Galatians 5:22-23)  Moreover, magnificent endowments await you at the final stop of your earthly stewardship.  “The Word of God is living and powerful,” and speaks eloquently concerning your future estate; so let’s hear The Word. (Hebrews 4:12)

I John 5:4-5 (NKJV)
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.  Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Revelation 2:7 (NKJV)
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’

Revelation 2:11 (NKJV)
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”’

Revelation 2:17 (NKJV)
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’

Revelation 2:26 (NKJV)
And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations.

Revelation 3:5 (NKJV)
He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

Revelation 3:12 (NKJV)
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

Revelation 3:21 (NKJV)
To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Revelation 21:7 (NKJV)
He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

The Apostle Paul offers a succinct summary of our Heavenly benefits: “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” (Romans 8:18)  “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which GOD hath prepared for them that love him.” (I Corinthians 2:9)  Sisters and brothers, keep your eyes on the prize and be continually blessed!
