WHY AMERICA MUST REJECT DONALD TRUMP (Part I)

Unquestionably, DONALD TRUMP is a clear and present danger to the security and future of AMERICA.

To be candid, I am hesitant to publish such a stark and sober warning because it will surely be construed by some as a partisan or political statement. It is not.

As I have mentioned in previous posts, I am an Independent because I hold the firm conviction that neither party (Republican nor Democrat) upholds or adheres to the spiritual values that are set forth in the Word of God. Under the banner of “a woman’s right to choose,” the Democratic Party actually co-signs the legal murder of multiplied millions. (Exodus 20:13) Under the banner of “small government” and “free enterprise,” the Republican Party tacitly supports the neglect of those whom Christ referenced as “the least of these.” (Matthew 25:40-45)

A host of additional troublesome issues could be listed here, but for the purpose of brevity I have cited only these. To wit, my intention is not to make a partisan or political statement, but to shed daylight on the current corruption of the American body politic and the increasing apostasy of the institutional church.

I believe that the United States of America is a nation formed by the sovereign will of God. However, our nation is now unravelling before our eyes. And Trump is not the solution to our problems. Incidentally, neither is Cruz, Rubio, Kasich, Clinton, or Sanders. Indeed, our current dilemma is as ancient as sin, and it is a derivative of our escalating contempt for (and rejection of) the things of God.

While the faith community sleeps, satanic forces are wreaking havoc in our government, our courts, our law enforcement agencies, our schools, our businesses and our families. THE CHURCH MUST NO LONGER BE SILENT. It is high time that we let our voices be heard.

What is GOD’S ANSWER to our current state of affairs?

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (II Chronicles 7:14)

While we are asleep at the switch, the American locomotive is reeling out of control, headlong toward a destructive and bridgeless chasm, as we feel safe and secure riding the rails of those whose incompetency and intentions do not mirror the divine will.

THE SPIRIT OF REBELLION looms large within America, and its casualties are many. Teachers cannot educate. Politicians cannot legislate. Businesses cannot operate. Meanwhile, new-age thinking, materialism, patronage and pride have combined forces to execute a hostile takeover of the institutional church. I am careful to use the label, “institutional church,” which should never be confused with THE INVISIBLE CHURCH, the baptized body of true believers who honor “the faith which was once delivered to the saints.” (Jude 1:3)

Since a spiritual vacuum now exists, many have turned to an imposter, a showman, a charlatan and (let’s call him who he is) a hypocrite, in order to resolve our problems. Mr. Trump is a pretentious braggart and a blustering bully, plain and simple. The popular rise of this reality show entertainer defies all logic and conventional wisdom. He brutally assaults political competitors, while serially denigrating women, immigrants, Muslims, minorities, heads of state and our own governmental leaders. His policy projections are baseless vapor – all style and no substance.

Hear the following with your spirit. While I would not go as far as to suggest that Mr. Trump is the Antichrist, it is crystal clear to me that HE OPERATES IN THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST and that his presidential candidacy is 1) a sure sign that we are now in the end-times; and, 2) a harbinger of global events that will usher in the actual EMERGENCE OF THE ANTICHRIST and the beginning of The Tribulation Period. (Matthew 24:29 – Daniel 9:27)

I will explain this with further detail in tomorrow’s posting. But for now, prayerfully consider the following biblical warning. While it does not directly describe Mr. Trump, it makes clear references to “false prophets,” and “the spirit of the antichrist,” and “the spirit of error.” Unfortunately for us, Mr. Trump exemplifies all of these.

I John 4:1-6 (NKJV)
1 BELOVED, DO NOT BELIEVE EVERY SPIRIT, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because MANY FALSE PROPHETS HAVE GONE OUT INTO THE WORLD. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. 4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. 6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and THE SPIRIT OF ERROR.

I am cognizant of the fact that my words will seem troublesome to many, but I must (WE MUST) speak out against the travesty and turmoil that is taking place in our nation. Stay tuned…more to come tomorrow!
