GET OVER YOURSELF!
The
fastest and most effective way to escape from intermittent feelings of personal
rejection, pain, doubt, despair, or depression is to get up (right now), get
moving (immediately) and resolve (from now on) to focus on the needs of
others. Whether you know it or not, GOD
wants to use YOU!
If that
is the case, why on earth would you sit passively awaiting some random event to
mobilize and deploy you in the active service of our God? Now hear this! Whenever and wherever you make yourself
available to move forward in the power of GOD...YOU become His proactive,
productive and powerful agent for miracles!
Therefore,
it seems quite prudent to consider canceling any planned pity party. By the way, haven’t you noticed that no one else
shows up to attend other than yourself? Being
self-absorbed is neither a Kingdom characteristic, nor a winning strategy. After all, it’s not about you; it’s all about
HIM. Be faithful and fruitful in the
KINGDOM OF GOD and (as a direct result) you will be abundantly blessed, both in
time and eternity.
