HOW LONG SHOULD YOU STAY?
I read
an old Swahili proverb today that made me burst into laughter. It says, ‘Treat your guest as a guest for two
days; on the third day, give him a hoe.’
The sage Solomon expressed a similar thought, but much more bluntly: “Seldom
set foot in your neighbor’s house, lest he become weary of you and hate you.”
(Proverbs 25:17)
It’s great to visit, but truly, ‘Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home.’
Sisters and brothers, be continually blessed, and please (above all else) MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY TO MEET OUR SOON COMING KING. Maranatha!
