BUILD!

BUILD!

It has been suggested that life boils down to a matter of building choices. Indeed, all of us were born with a divine mandate to build something, whether it be a good reputation, a career, a loving family, solid friendships, personal integrity, or a right relationship with God. But some of those things can evaporate in a flash because of financial losses, natural disasters, unwarranted deception, unforeseen difficulties, or even death.

Daniel Webster offered sage advice on our important life-building project.  He wrote, “If we work on marble, it will perish. If we work on brass, time will effect it. If we rear temples, they will crumble to dust. But if we work on men’s immortal minds, if we imbue them with high principles, with fear of God and love of their fellow-men, we engrave on those tablets something which time cannot efface, and which will brighten and brighten through all eternity.”

Point to Ponder: What are you building, and with what materials?  My friend, build wisely.

Sisters and brothers, be continually blessed, and please (above all else) MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY TO MEET OUR SOON COMING KING. Maranatha!
