Despite our brilliance, ingenuity and phenomenal accomplishments, humankind owes its continual existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it occasionally rains. Indeed. And God is the indisputable designer of both of these benefits, not us. I’m fully aware that today’s devotional topic contains grammatically flawed English, but it is absolutely accurate and essential theology. Trust our Creator.
