ALL IS WELL
Robert Louis Stevenson tells of a storm that caught a
vessel off a rocky coast and threatened to drive it and its passengers to
destruction. Contrary to orders, in the
midst of that weather terror, one daring man went to the deck and made a
dangerous passage to the pilot house.
There he saw the determined pilot at his post holding the wheel
unwaveringly, and inch-by-inch turning the ship out to sea away from those deadly
rocks. When the pilot spotted the
passenger watching, he simply smiled. Then, the daring passenger went below and
sounded a note of comfort and cheer: “I have seen the face of the pilot, and he
is smiling at us. All is well!”
Unquestionably, these are troubling times. But The Pilot is at the helm and He is in
control. It is well.
Sisters and brothers, be continually blessed, and
please (above all else) MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY TO MEET OUR SOON COMING KING.
Maranatha!
