GRIEVING OVER WHAT DOES AND DOESN'T MATTER

GRIEVING OVER WHAT DOES AND DOESN'T MATTER

Throughout life, know what really matters.

When actress Sophia Loren sobbed to Italian movie director Vittorio De Sica over the theft of her jewelry, he lectured her: “Listen to me, Sophia.  I am much older than you and if there is one great truth I have learned about life, it is this--never cry over anything that can’t cry over you.”  Amen.

You can somehow replace things, not people.  Today, we lost our eldest sibling, Bishop Joseph Edison Bass, Jr.  He will be dearly and deeply missed by his extended family, colleagues, church members and friends.  However, he is now an honored member of The Church Triumphant, and we are proud to celebrate his life-legacy and eternal victory manifested in that blessed and joyous communion with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Well done, big brother, well done!

Sisters and brothers, be continually blessed, and please (above all else) MAKE SURE YOU ARE READY TO MEET OUR SOON COMING KING. Maranatha!
