WHO'S DRIVING?

WHO’S DRIVING?

Good day devotional readers!  Due to a critical counseling intervention that consumed my morning, I will complete the devotional series entitled “Jesus Christ, Our High Priest” on tomorrow, God willing.  For today, I pose a simple-yet-serious question for your reflection: Who’s Driving?

Is the vehicle of your life being operated or navigated by popular opinions, traditions or customs?  Are you accelerating or decelerating at the will and whim of someone who neither owns your ‘car’ nor possesses a license to drive?  If you need to adjust your course or change your lane, are you ready, willing and able to do so…or are you stuck in the inertia and momentum of prior trips and experiences?  Do you have sufficient fuel to make it to your destination…or are you now running on fumes?  Does your life retain the required insurance coverage in the event of unforeseen accidents or incidents?

Well, my friends, you already know WHO should be driving your car.  So be sure to mute the voice of every back-seat driver and give HIM ultimate control over your vehicle, your journey, your decisions and your ultimate destination.  Sisters and brothers, have a safe trip, and be continually blessed!
