INFLUENCE
We were created to be seed-sowers. It is our foundational task in every arena of
life. Of course, Christ is “Lord of the
harvest.” (Matthew 9:38) So leave the
results to Him. Ironically, during this
life, we may not clearly discern the transformative influences of our “salt”
and “light.” (Matthew 5:13-14) It’s one
of the many things that makes this journey a faith venture.
The powerful lyrics of a Winans song affirm this truth:
For we may never know
All the
people we have touched;
For we
may never know
All the
lives that we have reached;
But we
know You know – for a record You do keep
And when
the end does finally begin,
We will receive a great reward for what we've
done.
Keep on keeping on.
HE knows your name. Your Kingdom
influence will be rewarded.
